Chain and Leather lead

This chain and leather lead is perfect for those who have a puppy or an older dog who chews their leads.

The leather portion is made from Sedgwicks 3.5 - 4mm bridle butt, hand cut, finished and stiched and will last a lifetime given correct care. The chain, available in either medium or heavy weight solid brass is 18" long (although we can supply longer chain for special order) and will not rust or weaken with age.

Our half check collars use identical brass chain, so make a very smart combination when used together.

This lead is available in a number of lengths and widths and with a choice of ring sizes in the handle to either shorten the lead or act as a tethering ring.

 The larger size ring will allow the trigger hook to go through the ring, meaning the lead can be fastened tightly around a post etc and will tighten further if pulled against. Both sizes of ring allow the length of the lead to be halved, either to tether or just to shorten the lead if required.
