Craftsmanship

Stitching - Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship is generally defined as "the quality of design and work shown in something made by hand". It follows that products made by machine can never demonstrate the craftsmanship we prize so much. Here at Equus Craftsmanship is what we live and breathe. Take a look at a few images from the creation process from some of our products, showing something of the journey they undertake and the hands that mould them in to shape along the way.

“In a world of fast fashion and offshoring true luxury is the touch of a craftsmans hand, the shortness of the link from an artisan to the owner of an object. However far mechanisation develops it will never be able to impart the soul to an object the craftsman’s hand can.
